Privacy Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

Landi Industries (“Landi Industries,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware corporation with offices in Highland Heights, Ohio, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.landiindustries.com (the “Site”) or use the Customer Portal at www.landiindustries.com/portal (the “Portal”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information you give us

  • Portal account. Name, corporate email address, phone number, company or Organization name, job title, and password or passkey when you register. If you sign in with a third-party provider (for example Google or Microsoft), we receive the name, email address, and profile image that provider shares.
  • Uploaded content. Files and information you or your Organization upload to the Portal, such as CAD models, specifications, schematics, bills of materials, notes, and comments.
  • Messages and bookings. What you send us through the live chat, contact email, or when you book a consultation. Bookings are handled by our scheduling provider under its own privacy policy.
  • Legal acceptance. A record that you accepted the Terms of Service and this policy, and when.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site and Portal: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, heatmaps, session replays, and errors. We do not send your name, email address, or account identifier to these tools, and we do not use them to profile individuals. We honor the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals: when either is on, analytics and session replay are not loaded.
  • Device and technical data. IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and approximate location derived from IP address, generated automatically when you visit.
  • Cookies and similar storage. Our authentication provider sets cookies to keep you signed in to the Portal. Analytics tools set cookies to distinguish visits. The Site uses browser storage to remember preferences such as a collapsed section. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; blocking authentication cookies will prevent Portal sign-in.
  • Engineering tools. Self-service tools such as the STEP to STL Converter run entirely in your browser. Files you use with them are never uploaded to or stored by Landi Industries.

2. How We Use Information

  • To review and approve Portal registrations and manage Organization membership.
  • To provide the Site and Portal: agreements, file exchange, meeting schedules, tools.
  • To perform the engineering services you have engaged us for.
  • To communicate about your account, projects, security, and, where you have asked for it, news from Landi Industries.
  • To understand how the Site and Portal are used so we can fix problems and improve them.
  • To keep our systems secure, enforce the Terms of Service, and meet legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

  • Within your Organization. Approved Users in your Organization can see project files, upload history, meeting information, and the names and email addresses of other members of that Organization.
  • With service providers that operate the Site and Portal for us, under contracts that restrict their use of the data: authentication and account management (Clerk), hosting and content delivery (Vercel), file storage, analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), live chat (Landbot), scheduling (Acuity Scheduling, HoneyBook), and email delivery.
  • With your consent or at your direction.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Landi Industries, our clients, or others.
  • In a business transfer, if Landi Industries is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply.

4. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and project data, including encryption in transit, access controls, manual approval of Portal accounts, and confidentiality obligations on our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Project content is also protected by the confidentiality terms of the Mutual NDA or Master Services Agreement between us.

5. Data Retention

  • Account and Organization data is kept while your Organization is an active client and for as long as needed afterwards to meet contractual, legal, and audit obligations.
  • Project files in the Portal are available during the engagement and generally up to 30 days after project completion, after which they may be archived or deleted. Keep your own copies.
  • Unapproved registrations may be deleted after 30 days.
  • Analytics data is retained by the analytics providers for the periods configured in those tools.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email legal@landiindustries.com; we may need to verify your identity. You can also:

  • Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser to stop analytics and session replay.
  • Clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
  • Update your Portal profile or close your account from the account menu, or by contacting us.

We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Children

The Site and Portal are for businesses and professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International Visitors

Landi Industries is based in the United States and processes information there. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. For material changes affecting Portal users, we will notify you by email or ask you to accept the revised policy at your next sign-in. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised policy.
