The Doing Business with Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) training session provides an overview of how small businesses and industry partners can engage with the Air Force’s procurement and research organizations. The first portion of this two-part training focuses on working with the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), covering its mission, how the organization procures goods and services, and when opportunities typically arise for vendors.
The second portion of the session highlights how to work with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) located at WPAFB. Attendees will learn about AFRL’s mission, procurement processes, innovation programs, and key contacts that can help businesses navigate partnership and contracting opportunities. This online training is designed for companies interested in government contracting, Government Industrial Base (GIB) readiness, and participation in innovation initiatives such as SBIR and STTR programs.
